Not sure if the
time is right?

It can be hard to tell when the time is right. Changes in your pet's comfort, mobility and enjoyment of everyday life can happen gradually.

Our quality of life assessment can help you look at these changes more clearly and identify things you may want to discuss with your veterinarian.

About us

Care from people who understand how difficult this is.

Compassionate Paws is a family-owned and operated veterinary service. Dr Jared and Dr Jo bring extensive veterinary experience and a shared commitment to supporting families through one of the hardest parts of loving a pet.

Dr Jared

Jared is usually the person you'll meet when you arrange a home visit. He brings a calm, practical approach, taking the time to explain what will happen, answer questions and make sure everyone feels comfortable with the process.

He understands that some families want to talk things through, while others prefer a little quiet. He's happy to follow your lead and give you the time you need with your pet.

Dr Jo

Jo works mostly behind the scenes, but her veterinary experience plays an important role in how Compassionate Paws operates.

As a Fear Free certified veterinarian, she helps develop the practices and procedures we follow, working with Jared to minimise stress and keep pets as comfortable as possible. She also helps with communication and the everyday running of the service, making sure families feel supported from their first enquiry onwards.

Here when you're ready.
